Just came off working on the MND update, and I must say I'm rather pleased with the new in-game background. It's Underneath this month so it's a bit rocky down there, with what looks like 2 bands of sulphur trapped between the rocks. Really cool effect there.

Also added Auriolis and Gort'n to the game. Auriolis was shown some time back. Gort'n is shown below. This is the draft copy though, somehow Photoshop messed up and cut off a few pixels from this image, but the updated image on the engine is hopefully the good one. Art for this card was done by Jen Reed, with the background from a Malaysian whose deviant art handle is "No-Wing".

Things have been rather quiet on the engine otherwise, but the number of games is almost hitting 100 per day. I guess that's a good sign. I do miss those days when you could log on and play MND at anytime you wish (or observe a MND game). Sadly those days are gone.

There are still a large number of "angry" players on LotR Online though. Some sort of Credit Card fraud thing. It's interesting though to see and guage the reactions there. I did some more trades and got some really cool cards for a new deck idea. Apparently everyone has the same idea as well it seems. Oh well. Will build that deck when I find the motivation. Basically it's a rather interesting one. Might also build a true Rainbow Archer deck with nothing but archers on both sides. That might sound interesting. I wonder if I have enough cards for those.

Tomorrow is Ed's birthday. He'll be ... older. I wonder if he'll put in time to do CCG Workshop stuff like he has for the past 3 years or so. I hope he would, there are a number of easy things that only he can do, like adding screenshots and setting up the folders for Checkers.

I got to get a screenshot from a teaching AvP game yesterday and that could go up on the game page. It's a pity I can't link it in eventhough the images are on the server. I also talked with 3 Shepherds to let them know about one shot tours, how to arrange for vacation modes and things like that. The 3 of them are really keen at promoting the games that they play so I guess that's a good thing. One of them is also branching out into other games as well, which is a good sign.

Anyways, time to get back to MND. And message for Scroogey - soggy fish and chips is a developed taste!
