It's a new month, and it's time for me to change titles. Last month, all the titles of my posts were card titles of the WS CCG. This month, I'll change the focus slightly to something that's a bit mroe popular.

Yesterday, I actually finished adapting JC's Tournament for him. It's basically another "no frills" adaptation and he seems rather pleased with it. He'll of course have to automate it at some point. Well, I've sent it to him bare-bones and all so it's his baby after this.

Played quite a lot of LotR yesterday and today as well because I've got a fun "After the Countryside" Hobbits deck (Please, no more jokes of scroogey as frodo). Basically, it uses Ents and Gandalf to do a few Gandalfy tricks - it's not a good deck, just a fun one really. IMO, tournament decks are going to run Elves and Nazghuls, which is such a pity.

Updated the BOT yesterday as well. Someone was asking one word non-questions again that really can be answered a million different ways. I mean what answer is the bot suppose to give to the question "game"? People really need to be more specific in what they want to know.

Not that it would interest anyone, but I cleared out my PM mailbox yesterday. I can't believe I've got that much junk in there. I've got to learn to delete unimportant PMs the moment I get them. It was fun though reading through the old PMs just to capture the history of stuff.

Well, no new game for October, and Ed isn't really bothered by it. There's way too much going on under the calm surface as it is, according to him, which probably means he's busy with real life. The server move is still going on funny. I can't wait for things to be fixed though. And I guess he's still working hard on the next build...

I sorted out the games today, and gave my suggestions to Ed for this month's featured games. Erm... well, it's already the 1st and nothing has been set yet, so I doubt there'll be a featured game today...

Also got some LotR cards from Finland today. For those who are wondering, I've got an attempt to collect 1 of every English printed card, at the lowest cost, with limited success. Must be because there aren't that many players locally to trade cards and what not. Still, that's 5 less cards I have to worry about. I've yet to update my wants list for Mount Doom and Return of the King... and Shadows will be upon us soon in real life. Such is the pace of life that I find myself in. Way too much to do.

Shadows hasn't even hit the stores yet and there are already spoilers for Black Riders, the next set. Well, the only one that actually has a new image is the Eomer card on the left. The card on the right is one that was spoilt more than a year ago during the Black Riders tour.

Ulaire Toldea - When you play Ulaire Toldea you may exert him to take a [Wraith] Event from discard pile into hand.
Witch-kings Beast - Cost 2 - Strenght +2 - Bearer must be a Nazgul. If Bearer is Witch-king after all Skirmishes and Fierce Skirmishes you may exert bearer twice to make the Free Peoples Player Assign bearer to another skirmish.

It's not surprising that the Black Riders set should be focusing on the Nazghuls. However with only 9 of them (including the Witch King) one has to wonder what the rest of the set will comprise of. Hopefully there'll be some support for the older Shadow cultures... but somehow I doubt it.
